From 2009 to 2019, easyJet's annual operating costs showed a trend of continuous growth. However, in 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the operating costs dropped to over 2.5 billion British pounds. In 2021, operating costs continued to decrease to 1.6 billion British pounds. Operating costs began to increase again in 2022 and then reached a peak at over 5.7 billion pounds in 2024.
