This statistic shows the opinion on the duration of maternity leave in France in 2016. It displays that the majority of respondents, namely 60 percent, thought that the duration of maternity leave in France was sufficient.

In France, the period of maternity and childcare leave is set at 16 weeks: six weeks before delivery, and ten weeks after delivery. Paternity leave lasts up to 11 consecutive days.
