Watches and jewelry was the category that registered the highest cruise passenger expenditure in Latin America and the Caribbean as of May 2018, with a total expenditure of 827.5 million U.S. dollars. Shore excursions was the second category on which cruise passengers in the Caribbean spent the most, with 636.6 million U.S. dollars.
