Opinions on the extent of EU control over budgets of member states Netherlands 2019

This statistic displays the results of a survey of opinions regarding the extent of the European Union's control with regard to the budgets of its member states. The survey results suggest that as of 2019, the majority of people in the Netherlands thought that the extent of EU control over the budgets of its member states should either remain unchanged or decrease. Close to 30 percent of respondents indicated that they felt the European Union should have less of a say when it comes to state budgets, while roughly 40 percent thought the current situation should be maintained in future.
