Net profits/losses of An Post 2010-2021

An Post reported a net loss of around 38 million euros in the 2021 fiscal year. This was some 20 million more than the previous year. This net loss was below the margin achieved during the 2018 and 2019 fiscal years as, during the pandemic, price increases were deferred and the costs were secured towards keeping critical networks open at all times. Even as the economy gradually reopened in 2021, the company was impacted by Brexit and new customs rules.
