As of December 2024, there were some 56.4 million users of Meta's Facebook, which represented 48.9 percent of the population. Users aged 25 to 34 made up the largest user group, accounting for 31.4 percent of Facebook's user base in the country. People over 65 made up the smallest user group, with just three percent. Additionally, men were more likely to use Facebook than women in Egypt.
