According to the source there were nearly 70.6 million Facebook users in Russia as of October 2024, with 31.2 percent of those users being between 25 and 34 years of age. Users aged between 35 and 44 years were the next largest group at 25.6 percent. In mid-March 2022, the social media platform was blocked in the country, as its parent company Meta was claimed an extremist organization.
