As of March 2025, there were over 6.5 million Facebook Messenger users in Portugal. Overall, users aged 25 to 34 made up the largest user group, accounting for 21.7 percent of Messenger's audience in the country. Additionally, just eight percent of users were aged between 18 and 24 years.
