When asked in a 2019 survey about the cycling infrastructure in Australia, 63.4 percent of respondents said that separating on-road bike lanes and parked vehicles would encourage them to cycle for transport or recreation. A similar share of respondents said they would be encouraged by better connectivity between bike routes.
