In 2024, Macao recorded a total of 46 million Macau patacas in betting on horse racing. Once an important part of the city's betting and lottery industry, the Macao horse racing industry has been reporting an annual deficit for over a decade. From April 1, 2024, Macao's horse racing game officially came to an end.
