Between 2012 and 2017, the amount of hectares used as organic farmland increased steadily. As of 2017, there were close to 1,850 hectares of land used for, or transitioning to organic farming. This was an increase of roughly 200 hectares compared to the previous year, and the highest figure within the time-frame considered here.
