Largest crude oil producers in Brazil 2023, by volume

Petrobras was by far the leading crude oil producer in Brazil in 2023, based on volume. That year, the Brazilian state-owned company's output amounted to nearly 1.1 billion barrels, accounting for the vast majority of Brazil's crude oil production. By comparison, the subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell ranked sixth, with a production of some 9.5 million barrels.
