Reasons not to be a trade union member in the Netherlands 2022
In 2022, just under one fifth of Dutch employees were trade union members. Over half of survey respondents, 54 percent, who had not joined a trade union said they had never seriously consider becoming a member. Another 12.3 percent stated that membership for them was not useful, because trade unions lacked influence on their working conditions.
