In a survey conducted in 2019 in Australia, almost 60 percent of the female respondents stated that they used a digital payment service in the last 12 months in order to pay bills. In that same year over 11 percent of female respondents used Buy-Now-Pay-Later payments, which equaled to over one in every ten female respondents using the so-called Buy-Now-Pay-Later payments. In comparison to male respondents, this was over double.
