The value of deposits which had come into the Union Bank of India at the end of fiscal year 2022 amounted to over ten trillion Indian rupees. This was one of the highest deposit valuation for a public sector bank in the country. In April 2020, the bank acquired Andhra Bank and Corporation Bank of India, thus resulting in a strong increase of deposits.
