Colombia: automotive import and export value 2010-2023

The Colombian automotive manufacturing industry's imports have exceeded its exports at least since 2010. In 2023, imports of motor vehicles and their engines in the South American country amounted to 3.8 billion U.S. dollars, whereas the exported value totaled around 430 million dollars. The automotive trade balance in Colombia has shifted in 2023, due to lower imports and slightly higher exports compared to the previous year.
