In 2023, almost 83 percent of the knee replacement procedures carried out in England, Wales and Northern Ireland were a cemented fixation, making it by far the most common knee replacement procedure in this year. An unicondylar cemented replacement was the second-most common at 7.4 percent, and then the uncemented knee replacement constituted an 3.2 percent share of all procedures.
