Perception of being forgiving contributing to happiness in Japan 2019
Only 40 percent of Japanese respondents stated that being forgiving contributes to some extent to their personal happiness, according to a survey conducted in June 2019 by Ipsos on happiness. Among 28 countries surveyed, Japan showed the lowest share of respondents claiming to gain happiness from forgiving other people.
