Leading motivations of South Korean tourists to visit Japan 2024

According to a survey conducted in the departure lobbies of Japanese airports and seaports throughout 2024, for 84.5 percent of South Korean tourists, eating Japanese food was one of the main motivations to come to Japan. Japanese cuisine was followed in popularity by shopping.
