Leading motivations of tourists from Thailand to visit Japan 2024

According to a survey conducted in the departure lobbies of Japanese airports and seaports throughout 2024, for 85.9 percent of tourists from Thailand, eating Japanese food was one of the main motivations to come to Japan. Japanese cuisine was followed in popularity by shopping, which was mentioned by 67.6 percent of respondents.
