Leading motivations of Malaysian tourists to visit Japan 2024

According to a survey conducted in the departure lobbies of Japanese airports and seaports throughout 2024, for 84.5 percent of tourists from Malaysia, eating Japanese food was one of the motivations to come to Japan. Japanese cuisine was followed in popularity by shopping, as well as nature and scenery sightseeing.
