Share of elderly who managed selected digital issues in Norway 2014-2018, by issue

From 2014 to 2018, elderly Norwegians seemed more capable of mastering the internet. While 41 percent of the respondents claimed to master the internet to a large or very large extent in 2014, 52 percent of the respondents believed so as of 2018. However, a slight increase of respondents also found that they needed more instructions, and that understanding data language could prove difficult. In similar vein, the share of elderly who were afraid of making mistakes online increased from 22 percent in 2014 to 32 percent in 2018.
