Comparison between current and desired workplace of youths in ASEAN 2019

According to a survey among ASEAN youths, the percentage of respondents that would like to work in SMEs in the future declined from 18.3 percent to 7.5 percent while the share of respondents that desire to work in foreign multinational companies increased from 8.6 percent to 18.8 percent. In the same survey, ASEAN youths assessed that their skills will need to be constantly updated for the job market.
