In 2023, China's largest steel company - Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd. reported to surpass 1.1 trillion yuan of total revenues, an increase of 2.3 percent compared to the previous year. In terms of steel output in 2023, China's state-owned Baowu Group ranked first among the world's steelmakers. Its subsidiary Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (Baosteel) is listed at the Shanghai stock exchange.
