Cuba: government construction value 2014-2018
The value of government construction performed in Cuba amounted to nearly 8.3 billion Cuban pesos in 2018, up from 7.21 billion pesos a year earlier. This figure has more than doubled in comparison to 2014, when state construction in the country added up to four billion pesos.
Construction value includes architectural work (such as residential and industrial buildings, building for health , education, tourism and agricultural purposes, as well as other types of non-residential buildings) and civil engineering work (hydraulic and hydrological works, electrical networks, roads and other civil engineering works). It also includes construction maintenance.
