Minecraft belongs to the most popular video games available for both Android and Apple devices users. A study conducted by Airnow investigated the monthly number of downloads from the Apple App Store (including both iPhone and iPad) and Google Play Store of the Minecraft app in Italy from June 2019 to June 2020. As of the survey period, the number of downloads from Google Play Store reached its peak in October 2019, when Minecraft was downloaded 4,332 times. Concerning Apple devices users, the highest number of downloads was recorded in August 2019.
