Attitudes towards selected groups involvement in euthanasia in Great Britain 2019
In 2019, 74 percent of British adults believed that not-for-profit specialized end of life clinics should be allowed to assist someone in ending their life. Many Britons have travelled to Switzerland, where assisted suicide is legal, to use organizations such as Dignitas to end their life. Britons are far more skeptical of allowing private healthcare companies involvement in assisted suicide, with the same share of respondents both supporting and opposing their involvement.
