Consumption expenditure on sporting goods in Italy 2014-2022
Between 2014 and 2019, the consumption expenditure on sporting goods in Italy grew at a steady pace. Italian consumers spent about 5.6 billion euros in sporting equipment in 2014 and over the course of the following years, Italian consumers' expenditure on such products increased consistently, reaching over 6.2 billion euros in 2019. In 2020, however, sporting goods expenditure in Italy dropped by over one billion euros. As of 2022, this figure added up to over six billion euros.
