Opinion on improvements for urban public transportation in Vietnam 2019

According to a May 2019 survey conducted among Vietnamese citizens in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City regarding improvements needed in public transportation, 42 percent of respondents felt that drivers should drive more carefully. This was especially important among respondents from Ho Chi Minh City, where 49 percent of respondents shared this opinion. Apart from road safety, another 40 percent of overall survey participants also saw a need for improvement in regards to cleanliness of public transportation vehicles.
