The highest inflation rate in Romania in the past thirty years was recorded in 1993, when it reached 256.1 percent. On the other side, the lowest inflation rate was registered in 2016 with a negative percentage of -1.5 percent. In 2024 the inflation rate was listed as 5.6 percent with a CPI of 105.59.
