According to a 2019 survey of business leaders worldwide, the most important factor when selecting an executive search firm is the industry and/or functional knowledge of the individual consultant, with 53 percent of respondents selecting this option. This response was notably more popular than the 31 percent of respondents who selected the industry and/or functional knowledge of the firm overall.
