With approximately 54 percent, the Aam Aadmi Party had the largest vote share during the Delhi legislative assembly elections in India in 2020, followed by the Bharatiya Janata Party with around 39 percent. The AAP had a sweeping victory and secured 62 of the 70 seats, while the BJP won the remaining eight seats.
