In 2024, an estimated 12 billion cubic feet of liquefied natural gas (LNG) are expected to be exported from the United States per day. U.S. LNG exports are forecast to increase even further in 2025 to around 13.7 billion cubic feet per day, according to a December 2024 forecast.
