As of July 2019, around 85.1 percent of the Taiwanese respondents aged 20 to 29 years stated that they accessed internet with their smartphones using an unlimited data package from their telecommunication service provider. Since the 3G service retired in Taiwan in 2017, all mobile services adopted 4G in the island.
