In February 2020, according to the survey by IPSOS, 91 percent of Russians supported the requirement for those travelling from and to infected countries to undergo a mandatory screening due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Furthermore, over 80 percent of respondents expressed their support towards an obligatory quarantine for people who could potentially be infected with the virus.
