In April 2020, the Consumer Confidence Index in Poland was at its lowest since January 2020. The rapid escalation of coronavirus (COVID-19) had an impact on the current trends in individual consumption. In December 2024, the value of the current consumer confidence indicator was lower by 16.7 percentage points. In May 2025, the current consumer confidence indicator reached a value of -14.5; it was two percentage points higher than the previous month and 0.7 percentage points lower than a year before. The current consumer confidence indicator is the average of balances of evaluations changes in the household's financial condition, changes in the general economic situation of the country, and currently made major purchases.
