Roughly one half of the interviewed Norwegians aged 44 years or younger believed it was very, or fairly likely for them to get infected by the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, as of March 13, 2020. The corresponding figure for people aged 60 years or older was 16 percent. The number of people infected by COVID-19 in the Nordic countries increased rapidly since the beginning of March 2020.
