As of March 2023, the rate of infection per 100,000 inhabitants is highest in Bavaria, followed by Saarland.

Only case numbers transmitted electronically to the Robert Koch Institut (RKI) from health offices in federal states. Due to the reporting delay between known cases locally and transferring data to the RKI, there may be deviations compared to numbers currently published by federal states.
