Support for extending Brexit transition period due to Coronavirus 2020

Approximately 55 percent of British people would support the Brexit transition period being delayed due to the Coronavirus outbreak, according to a survey conducted in March 2020. Although the United Kingdom left the European Union on January 31, 2020, and intends to have exited the transition period by the end of the year, recent events have placed that timeframe into question.
