More than half (54 percent) of people who participated in a survey in March 2020 in Brazil stated that the South American country was a little prepared to fight the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, which causes COVID-19. Whereas 34 percent said that Brazil was not ready at all, approximately ten percent stated that the country was very prepared to fight the disease.
