The outlook considered two potential scenarios for 2020. In the best-case scenario, the pandemic is supposed to end in May 2020, while in the worst case-scenario it is supposed to last until December 2020. In both cases, a significant drop in revenues is expected. For instance, the tourism and transport industry in Lazio generated revenues for 30.2 billion euros in 2019. In the best-case scenario, this figure is expected to decrease to 25 billion euros in 2020, while in the worst-case scenario it would drop to 19 billion euros.
