NatWest Group CET1 ratio 2013-2024
The Common Equity Tier One (CET1) ratio is a measurement of a bank’s core equity capital and provides insight as to how well a bank can withstand financial stress. As of 2021, all banks should have a minimum required CET1 ratio of 4.5 percent. The NatWest Group reported a CET1 ratio of 13.6 percent in 2024. Prior to 2020, the group was known as Royal Bank of Scotland until it was renamed after the brand under which the majority of its business was delivered.
