In April 2020, the main reasons why Russian adults refused getting vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19) was that they did not see a need in getting the vaccine or they did not believe in the vaccine's effectiveness. In total, nearly one quarter of Russians preferred to not get a vaccine against COVID-19 if one was developed.
