Get in touch with us nowIn December 2024, the average monthly cost-per-click (CPC) in Google Ads search advertising in Brazil for the internet and telecom industry amounted to 2.28 U.S. dollars, the highest among the presented sectors. The home and garden segment recorded the lowest average CPC, at approximately 12 cents of the U.S. dollar.
Brazil was Latin America's largest search advertising market in 2024, with an estimated 4.23-billion-dollar expenditure. A year earlier, search advertising accounted for around six percent of digital advertising in Brazil, making it the fourth most important digital ad format after display, social, and video.
In 2023, digital advertising spending in Brazil grew by eight percent to 35 billion Brazilian reals. Retail accounted for almost one-quarter (23 percent) of Brazil's online ad spend that year. Services and media followed with a combined share of 20 percent.
