The total number of announced M&A deals with participation of companies from Greater China amounted to over 10,000 in 2024.

Included in the given figures are domestic corporate takeovers by companies from mainland China, Macau and Hong Kong in Greater China, overseas takeovers by companies in mainland China and Hong Kong, as well as takeovers by foreign companies in Greater China. From 2019 on, company takeovers in Taiwan are also included. Only deals with disclosed deal value figures are included.
