As of June 14, 2023, around 24 percent of COVID-19 cases in the U.S. were among people of Hispanic or Latino origin, and 12 percent of cases were among non-Hispanic Blacks. Hispanics or Latinos account for around 18 percent of the U.S. population while non-Hispanic Blacks make up 12.5 percent.
