In contrast, 21 percent of the respondents experienced worsening conditions in the first quarter of 2022. In terms of future expectations, 54 percent of the respondents predicted a decline in the economic conditions at their respective banks in the first quarter of 2023, while only 46 percent expected a decline in the first quarter of 2022.
