Number of overnight stays on French coasts summer 2019
In terms of summer overnight stays, the Mediterranean coast appeared as the most frequented coastline in France in 2019. Out of more than 121 million nights spent on French coastlines in summer 2019, 55.8 million were indeed spent on the Mediterranean Sea. Moreover, 39.1 million overnight stays were registered on the Atlantic Coast and 16.9 million on the shores of Brittany.
