Insured heavy vehicle types most prone to theft in Mexico 2021
In 2021, more than 62,200 insured vehicles were stolen in Mexico. Of them, around 6,900 were heavy vehicles. Truck tractors were the most stolen type of heavy vehicles that year, with over 3,100 units reported stolen. Semitrailers ranked second with just under 2,500 occurrences, followed by 1,200 truck thefts.
