The share of transactional risk insurance limits placed as a proportion of enterprise value in EMEA increased in 2021 and only fell slightly in 2022. Transactional risk insurance includes representations and warranty (R&W) insurance, as well as warranty and indemnity (W&I), tax and contingent liability insurance. In 2022, the W&I insurance limits placed and reported by Marsh JLT to enterprise value ratio was 29.7 percent.
